The Bo Noise's breakdance animation. They have a red bulbous nose, the ends of their cape tied into a bowtie, and are have a slightly doofy expression. They are pumping their arms, moving left and right, while holding what appears to be two tacos or crackers. A banner for Super Bo Noise, with the game's logo in the middle, a curious looking Bo Noise to the right, and some of the savoris and Burnie on the left. Bo Noise's skin is blue and their cap looks more like bunny ears. The characters are drawn in a fairly rendered style with a grainy texture overlayed, which is most noticable on the Bo Noise. The background is orange. The Bo Noise's breakdance animation. They have a red bulbous nose, the ends of their cape tied into a bowtie, and are have a slightly doofy expression. The Bo Noise is a Pizza Tower shitpost fan character that is a poorly drawn version of the Noise. However, more recent interpretations of the Bo Noise don’t really fit this description and a better descriptor for the little critter would be “dinky” or “bootleg”. Some common traits for iterations of the Bo Noise to have include the tapers of their cape coming out of their mouth, a weird hat instead of a mask, lack of mustache, tan skin, and a red tint on the nose.

Sprites for Bo Noise's taunts in the game. They consist of a gravestone that says 'rest in piece' in red text, Bo Noise shrugging with a big cheeky smile, Bo stretching out their mouth to make a goofy expression, Bo looking through a magnifying glass with widened eyes, Bo contently playing their nose like a flute (reference to the Spongebob SquarePants intro), Bo pointing to the dimples on their comically large tongue, Bo Noise's idle sprite edited to look shocked with a red exclamation point over their head, Bo with a giant smug look on their face, one where their mouth is in the shape of a tuc cracker, Bo with the body of a tuc cracker on all fours and crying, and lastly a taunt of Bo Noise screaming with their mouth making their entire body.

The character has existed for quite a while, with their game being in production for a couple years. The fact that it started development while Pizza Tower was still being made might be a bit of a surprise to those who weren’t aware of Pizza Tower’s pre-launch following. Although a couple early builds have been posted online, the final product would be released on July 4, 2024, over a year after Pizza Tower’s release. Additionally, there isn’t much known about Super Bo Noise’s production and I’d rather not snoop around, just to respect privacy and such.

The Tuc-Tastic Fangame

One of the most noticeable things about the game from the start is the smaller quantity in content. The crew behind the have stated that they aren’t planning to add any additional content, assumingly out of the desire to not overwork themselves, which is understandable. Nonetheless, the content provided is really enjoyable and the transition from a mere shitpost game to a passion project is impressive. Even then, when looking at the intricate design of The Mid Escape, perhaps the passion was always there.

Comparing the final product with the earlier builds, they are two totally different Tuc Crackers. The music, level design, gimmicks, and, most noticeably, the art see a total retooling in the final build. No longer does Bo Noise dash through blatantly unfinished levels painted with crude sprites and pre-existing content alongside the occasional Jeffy from SuperMarioLogan as the Weenie Mount, accompanied with either a stanky midi or messes of noise (I’m into it but I don’t know you) in the background. This little guy now traverses through two completely finished levels with unique gimmicks and a wide range of zany sprites that still keep their shitposty sides, with an unique soundtrack that really differentiates it from other Pizza Tower fangames. (More on the soundtrack later.)

Bo Noise’s moveset is very similar to Peppino’s, spare some additional abilities from earlier builds of pizza tower. These abilities are either quite helpful, such as being able to start slides by grabbing while crouching and being able to ground pound through ladders, or pretty useless, namely the Kung Fu move. Some other interesting features of the game include the collectable mail, the secret Savories, and various secrets. The mail can be garnered through doing certain things in game such as getting certain ranks, getting all the Red Eclipse coins, getting the secret savories, etc. This feature occasionally provides some silly lore and typically has some amusing dialogue, so it’s worth looking through. There are only two secret Savories, one for each level: “Bo Crystal”, Bo Noise’s original character, in the Midway, and “Fruitsette”, which is basically just Noisette with roller skates on, in Lake Eerie.

For the secrets, I’ll just list the main ones:

  • Typing “awesome” while on the options menu will give you handful of goofy options to toy around with:
    1. Cat HUD: Self explanatory. Places a variety of cat images on your HUD. Some of the cats may sometimes wink at you with an accompanying sound effect.
    2. Greenifier: Turns your screen gradually more and more green. This happens very slowly.
    3. RPG Mode: Turns your game into an RPG, reminds me of that one really old RPG parody game from the 2000s where you leveled up by just waiting. Unlike that example, you level up your moveset by using your moves more and more.
    4. Call Luigi: The real Luigi Mario calls you!
    5. Retro Bo: This warps you to a secret level recreating the first level in Super Mario Bros. 2. If you manage to get past the Raisin pillar at the end of the level, you will be treated to a mock anti-piracy screen.
  • Breaking the destructible blocks in Mr. Grape Manor’s ceiling will lead to a secret room including some unused assets, one of these being a powerup where Bo clings onto a fireball.
  • To the right of the Midway entrance, there is a tile with a white spot on it. You can crouch jump inside it to enter a secret room. This secret room seems to be referencing Judgment Hall from Undertale, with Pizzelle from Sugary Spire at the end of the hall, rotting in a jail cell. Interesting tidbit: if you use the developer console to clip through the bars and into Pizzelle’s cell and walk towards Pizzelle, you will take damage, similar to the Grandpa Pepper in the Pig City. • *Update: SHE'S GONE!!!!!!!!!! In the most recent patch for the game, Pizelle still appears the first time when you boot up the game and enter the area, but you will receive a letter from her once leaving. Re-entering the secret area will reveal that she's no longer there.

A cropped screenshot of Bo Noise in the secret room with Pizelle in it. Pizelle is missing from her delapitated cell. Bo Noise is in an idle animation where they are comically frowning with puffy eyes while crossing their arms. The letter you receive from the most recent patch of Super Bo Noise. It reads: Bo, I've seen the light of the outside world for the first time in years. I don't know if I'll be gone for long. I grew to like that water bottle. Be back soon, P 'S' T.

*Update AGAIN: SHE'S BACK! Okay I don't really have anything to say here she's just back lol.

An updated screenshot of Pizelle's cell. She is back in the cage, but there is a new poster on her cell's wall. It consists of her awkwarding smiling to the right of giant blue text that says, 'THE FULL GAME IS'. There is a tear after the word 'is'. Bo Noise is lying dead next to her cell, which is part of one of their idle animations.
  • My favorite secret: taunting in front of a leaf-shaped mirror in the manor three times will take you to a black void. Walking towards the left will reveal Evil Leafy from Battle For Dream Island, resulting in your game crashing and your computer getting the code error “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”
  • Ground-pounding the right corner of a small pool in the Lake Eerie cave will lead you to a room parodying the Bacon Room in Pizza Tower, this time with goldfish crackers and fish sticks instead of bacon. The giant fish in the background will smile and dance if you breakdance in this room, and unique music will play that isn’t the usual breakdance song.
  • (Technically speaking, there are some unfinished levels in the game’s files avasilable through the developer console I think. I have linked a video of someone exploring it in the “Tuc-Tastic Links” section. )

For bonus, here’s a rather obscure thing I’ve discovered while playing through the Lake Eerie level. If you manage to jump all the way near the front of the Raisin (the game’s equivalent to Pillar John), they will punch you and you will take damage. Not only that, but doing this will give you fucking mail. For context, you initiate the escape sequence for this level by hitting the block from behind and doing it from the front is a little tricky to figure out. This experience makes me wonder how much secret shit does this game really has.

A gif of the Raisin block punching Bo Noise at the end of Lake Eerie. Bo Noise, in the fish transformation featured in the level, leaps out of a pool of water in front of the Raisin pillar in front of him, but swiftly gets punched, causing them to fall into a lower, nearby pool. The letter you earn by getting punched by the Raisin Pillar. It reads: Good day Bo, Ha! Got you old boy! Bet you didn't think these shriveled arms packed a punch! Take care now, Raisin.

I’d like to talk about my personal experience playing the game. Since there’s very only so much in the game, unless you’re trying to U rank the two levels, a session would be at most 30 minutes. The gameplay is quite clearly intended for people who are already familiar with the control scheme of Pizza Tower. There’s some decent challenges to be had and the levels are fun to navigate. I typically boot up this game for the secrets or to show off specific animations to a friend or something. I especially love showing off that secret with Evil Leafy. Speaking of object shows, there are a couple classic object show sound effects used in the game. There’s the “Bulleh” sound effect used for enemy spawners, this dramatic noise that kinda sounds like the Vine Boom used in escape sequences (though I’m not entirely sure if this is an object show sound effect), and one of the classic crowd scream effects that I’m not very sure how it’s triggered; I assume it involves killing multiple enemies at once. That last sound effect in particular fascinates and perplexes me, as it is hard to trigger naturally and has played only two or three times for me. To make this sound effect even more perplexing, I don’t think I’ve ever heard it in other people’s playthroughs. Like how every artist draws Bo Noise a little differently from another, is every copy of Super Bo Noise personalized? Will a giant, menacing Bo Noise head float after me in the hallways of Glorious Mr. Grape’s Glorious Grape Mansion? Should the public make many an analog series based off of this phenomena, maybe a Friday Night Funkin’ mod if they feel a little devilish? Will Evil Bo Noise jeff the kill me? Nonetheless, I overall find myself more enamored by the aesthetics and somewhat specific humor within the game.

(Correction: the object show screaming sfx is one of the enemy screaming sound effects, which functions like how some enemies scream in fear when you run towards them in Pizza Tower. I’m still keeping this section cause it’s funny.)

Lemme add a very recent Bo Noise experience here because it’s really funny to me. The game’s Twitter account recently announced that if you check your mailbox through December 21 to Christmas, you’d get some special mail. They did implement a special mail message for Halloween, so this was to be expected. As of the 21st, I haven’t been able to get this mail for some reason and I was trying to troubleshoot this during my play session, which involved looking at the original tweet to see if I was missing something, thus focusing my eyes away from the game. Practically every time I tabbed out and went back to the game, Bo Noise would be fucking dead and lying on the ground, blood, tears, and green cartoon snot oozing from the poor creature’s body. For context, this is one of Bo Noise’s idle animations, some of which are quite violent. This idle animation in particular starts with Bo Noise referencing the “deal with it” meme, then their singular tooth falls off with blood coming out, they start to cry and then eventually collapse dead onto the ground, with some strange leaf looking object slowly sweeping them away into nothingness. What odds did I end up with where this kept happening to me?

A screenshot recreating what Xavier experienced while playing in game. The Bo Noise is in the idle animation mentioned before, with them laying dead on the ground, eyes rolled up, bloodshot, and tears coming out. A little bit of snot is coming out of their nose and a giant tongue is hanging out of their mouth. They are crudely drawn with a small, pointy nose and a somewhat shriveled up body. Their body is laying next to the hub world's mailbox, which is purple and has a cheeky expression on its face.

Update: I was able to get the mail the following day (the 22nd) and I might as well show it off here.

The letter you obtain during December 21-25. It reads: Dear Bo, I'm so sorry that your pony got lost in the post last year. I'll make it up by bringing one myself this time. Happy Christmas, S. Claus.

Speaking of aesthetics, I would like to mention the game’s soundtrack. Most of the tracks are created by Uni M. (who I suspect did some of the artwork or animations as well), with some tracks by VI and U4mhh. It stands out quite a bit compared to the other Pizza Tower fangame soundtracks I’ve heard, where they try to emulate the soundtrack of the original game. Sure, Super Bo Noise has a couple of these tracks, but it also tends to get rather jazzy or bossa nova, having a range that is fitting for the inconsistent protagonist. Granted, some of the tracks sound amateurish in a couple places, but there is a passion and sincerity behind it, as well as a willingness to play with dynamics. And when a track hits… it hits pretty damn well. If there is one track you end up listening to from this game, please let it be the music for the cave sections in Lake Eerie, “A Broken Heart and a Bladder”. It is such a surprisingly serene, magical, and dare I say dramatic piece of music. The track also reminds me weirdly enough of some 80s Japanese music. Typically, this type of influence or aesthetic would be quite blatant in a track, but it feels rather subtle, and if it is an influence, the track doesn’t make any attempt to put it on the forefront. The subtlety of this detail to me allows the track to still stand on its own and have substance. Maybe it’s not one of the greatest video game music tracks ever made, but it’s definitely one of my top favorite tracks I’ve ever heard in a video game.

The most striking part of A Broken Heart and a Bladder is the fact it feels so invested in itself despite the shitpost-y tone of the main character and aesthetic. It doesn’t care that it’s for a Pizza Tower shitpost game; it only wants to immerse you in the domain it lives in, a rather universal goal of all video game music. In general, the game has this weirdly sincere feeling to it, this genuine desire to make a genuinely enjoyable game despite its limited playtime. I would like to get into this sincerity in a different section, but to close this off, Super Bo Noise is a very charming game that is worth checking out if you’ve got a good grasp on the Pizza Tower control scheme.

Why Do I Like Good Ol' Bo?

There’s something incredibly charming and cute about the Bo Noise to me. It’s odd. It’s odd that I find this little feller genuinely cute when a portion of the jokes made with them is them getting maimed. This becomes even more peculiar with the fact that I find something about the Bo Noise to be distinctly sincere. Why, Xavier, this is a shitpost character! Every Bo Noise is dipped in a kraft cheese-like substance to preserve its frivolous aura like that one dream sequence in Tomodachi Life! What can this thing provoke other than the amusement you get from typical pieces of repainted humor?

A lot of the sincerity comes from the Bo Noise’s more recent depictions. Unlike typical repainted humor, the Bo Noise isn’t entirely referential and seems to favor a distinct absurdness that is reminiscent of Pizza Tower, while also very much being their own thing. Sure, you can still see the ties to shitpost humor, but their design also covers a variety of cartoony appearances. I’ve seen some sprites of Bo Noise get compared to Ren and Stimpy, but that really doesn’t cover it. Many of the sprites for Bo Noise, to me, take on a 50s/60s/70s, somewhat UPA aesthetic. The mach 3 and superjump cancel moves remind me quite a bit of Cow and Chicken as well. Although Bo’s sprites take on a variety of aesthetics and styles, it utilizes these things to be its own thing and to showcase the flexibility of Bo’s character design. Furthermore, that flexibility offers a rather heartwarming opportunity: to see everyone’s individual touch in a piece of art.

One of the cards you get for falling off the map. The card depicts Bo's spirit fearfully yelling over their dead body in a hospital bed (in the background) while another Bo Noise in the foreground naively walks by, as if unaware of the scene. The Bos are depicted of average weight, their hats stylized into big bunny-like appendages, in onesie-like clothes, and are overall very simplistic in appearance. They have no cape, and no cape tapers coming out of their mouths. The artstyle is minimalist and UPA-esque, though it is a little sketchy. Everything is outlined in white and minimal colors are used. The writing next to the Bo Noise in the foreground says, 'HYDRATE. SLEEP. RECOVER. The background is red and very abstract. One of the cards you get for falling off the map. This one depicts Bo Noise looking a map (aptly labaled 'MAP') while the savoris and a long necked blue dinosaur eating leaves observe them do so. The green slime Noise lookalike savori is on Bo's head and is wearing their hat. Bo is stylized to have a very round face and red cartoon gloves. The artstyle here has a mid 1900s look to it, feeling subdued in its zanyness. The backdrop is in prehistortic times (implied by the dinosaur) with palm trees and Bo and the Savoris on a dirt path. The colors are a little desaturated and cooler than the first image, using a lot of yellow. There is writing on the top left that says, 'WRONG WAY?', with the top part of the question mark stylized into a spiral shape.
A cropped screenshot of Bo Noise in on the game's pause screen. They are sitting at a bar with one hand on the table and the other in this 'raptor hands' pose while smiling at the viewer. Bo Noise's hat has stumpy 'bunny ear' look to it, and their clothes completely cover their arms and hands. This is unlike common depictions of Bo, in which they have white cartoon gloves instead. Their face has a frog-like shape to it, the tapers of their cape hang on each side of their mouth, and they have a red bowtie. The album cover for Uni M.'s soundtrack for Super Bo Noise. The album cover consists of the Bo Noise smiling at the viewer while pointing to the right side. Their hat, which has once again been stylized to look like bunny ears, has been exaggerated to a comically large size and functions as the splash background for the album's title (Bo Noise OST). The other most notable stylization is the Bo Noise's giant buck tooth. The artstyle has a somewhat classic Looney Tunes look to it, as well as a UPA look to it with the shapes that make up Bo's upper body. A couple simplistic shapes and black music notes make the background for the sountrack, with the upside down triangle having the musciain's name in it (UNI. M). The cover has a grainy filter over the entire image.

I suppose this is where I get much more subjective. I believe even the humor has a tinge of sincerity to it. A portion of the gags done with the Bo Noise involve memes from the 2000s/2010s era (the awesome/epic face, ima firing mah lazah, etc.), and it does feel like that some depictions of the Bo Noise are trying to be to “cringey”. Thinking about it now, quite a lot of jokes involving the Bo Noise are very "lol random XD" in nature, which adds to the lil' feller's "cringe" aura. (I think nostalgia’s definitely a factor, as “cringey” memes can make people feel nostalgic.) Personally, this game feels too happy to show ill-will towards these former memes of the past. Even when the Bo Noise sometimes gets "punished" for engaging in "cringe" behavior, the game's environments are littered with silly internet emoticons that one may consider "cringe". It feels like these types of jokes are made by the same people who like these jokes, in a weird way. That’s at least the case with the Kittydog references, since Kittydog apparently worked on the game as well. Granted, Kittydog’s involvement makes me feel very conflicted since I know she’s done some dubious things in the past, but I tend to not invest myself in internet drama so I don’t know the whole scoop. Even with that, I can’t help having a soft spot for these references to the animation meme community since I have experience with said community. Even with the dubious nature of some of these jokes (Kittydog references, ima firin my lazer I recently learned has racist origins), I hope it still makes my point clear that the humor doesn’t feel mean-spirited, it’s more like a “haha that’s silly” kind of vibe.

One of Bo Noise's final blow animations. This one depicts the Bo Noise unhinging their jaw so that the 'ima firin mah laser' face can blast a strobing beam. This sprite looks similar to their idle sprite but without any eyes. The animation you get for getting an 'O' rank in the game. It depicts Bo Noise jumping towards the camera to do the awesome/epic face while shrugging. In blue letter, 'O WHALE' appears to the right of them with a cutesy whale drawing. One of the Bo Noise's finishing blow animations. In this animation, Bo Noise has the ears of a Kittydog and is using their giant tail to give out the final blow. The furry features are orange with purple accents, and the Bo Noise has the awesome/epic face as well.
Bo Noise's mach 3 HUD animation. The Bo Noise is depicted as a two legged-horselike creature running with a stupid expression. They have no mane, but an orange tail, and also a tuc cracker cutie mark. A Bo Noise idle animation where they turn into a yellow tree with their face on it. They transform through their hat consuming their entire body and morphing them into the shape. The animation uses Bo Noise's idle sprite.

A more miscellaneous reason I enjoy the Bo Noise is that they’re canonically nonbinary. Something about me is that I can get crazy attached to some nonbinary characters/characters I see as nonbinary. It’s not everyday when it happens, but when it happens, I fucking cling to that. I like that Bo Noise’s nonbinaryness is sorta just… there, but it is nonetheless expressed with pride. The Bo Noise, as a character, feels so unapologetic for their own weirdness that it makes me very happy as someone who does the same on a regular basis. The fact that they’re a furry also adds to it for sure lol. I express a deep love for “ugly” or “weird” characters such as the Bo Noise, so this infatuation I have for the guy is no surprise.

Bo Noise's mach 4 HUD animation. The Bo Noise is a cat-like creature riding a Tuc cracker with a beam with the nonbinary flag colors trail behind them. They have overly cutesy eyes and are looking at the viewer. The HUD for BO Noise's breakdance animation. It portrays the Bo Noise with a gaping, buck toothed smile while they hold a tiny nonbinary flag. The gay flag is behind them as well.

I suppose I could use the Bo Noise as a transition to a topic about taking stupid characters such as them way too seriously and doing crazy shit with them, but I think I should save that conversation for my “Hysteric Fanart” page. I’ve already sorta covered what I mean about this already, with the feelings of sincerity attached to the Bo Noise and all, but again, this is a topic I’m very passionate about and would be better for another page. To conclude the more “proper” section of this shrine, I think the Bo Noise is a super amusing character and their game is something you can get a good kick of. It’s really pleasant to see the final product for something like this; the evolution is quite impressive. And uhhh yeah. Tuc tuah the mic rula the old schoolah you wanna bo? I’ll noise it to ya

    Bop Ben Boest Bo Bprites

Note: these are in no particular order. Also these sprites aren't in the best quality since I took them off the Pizza Tower fangame wiki lol.

    1. The Mach 3 and Uppercut Cancel Animations
    2. Bo Noise's mach 3 running animation. They are depicted as a fat, doofy fellow running while their hands are in this 'raptor/autism hands' position. The Bo Noise is stylized to have a red nose and blush, their cape tapers in their mouth, and their hat looking like a pair of horns somewhat. Bo Noise's superjump cancel animation. They are depicted in a similar fashion to the mach 3 gif through their nose is more rounded, there's subtle crosshatching on their nose, and their hat has that 'bunny ear' appearance. The Bo Noise anticipates the next pose before transition into this 'superhero flying' pose.

I really like these sprites cause of how they depict Bo. I've already mentioned before that they are quite Cow and Chicken-esque. I've only watched one episode of Cow and Chicken but I think I could see this Bo being in the show. Also this depiction of the Bo Noise is pretty neat cause they made the Bo Noise fat, which is something you rarely see. Typically, they are portrayed being more scrawney than the Noise. Perhaps these sprites are a reminder to us all that we should depict the Bo Noise as a fat lil' thing more often.

    3. The Idle HUD
    4. Bo Noise's idle HUD animation. It starts out with Bo Noise vacantly staring at the viewer, tapping the lower end of their as if in thought. They then transiton into this Peppino/Senior Parmesean looking design, looking left and right anxiously. Bo then transitons back, quickly and smoothly snaps their fingers alongside a 'GULP' impact splash for emphasis before transitioning back to the 'vacant' sprite. In the 'gulp' sprite, Bo has a slightly nervous expression, and are portrayed more lanky.

This one is strangely mesmerizing and feels really in-character for Bo. I think the mesmerizing movement comes from the smooth transitions between the designs and also just some really good expressions. The "gulp" snap part of the animation reminds me of how Pilotredsun characters move. This game is chock full of good art I'll tell 'ya. I like how this HUD animation characterizes the Bo Noise: inconsistent, inspired (as in you can tell that the drawings are based off of something), seemingly vacant at first, yet distinctly weary, all the while being a visual splendor. Also I think the part where Bo Noise looks around is a reference to Senior Parmesan? Pretty neat if that's the case.

    5. This one animation for Kung Fu
    6. One of Bo Noise's sprites for Kung fu. They are depicted with a very spindley apperance as they lunge towards the target while holding a microphone. Their hat looks like a weird tall pillow on the top of their head, which contrasts with their very scrawney appearance.

While it's nice to see Bo Noise depicted as fat, I also think the skinny depictions of Bo Noise are very very charming as well. It really is fun to see how vast the interpretations of the Bo Noise's design are. Like, look at this one! So spindly and tall, really distinct! It's like they're some kind of kooky rockstar! I also really like this sprite because it feels like something I draw; the artstyle feels weirdly similar to mine.

    7. Bo Noise getting executed
    8. Bo Noise's HUD sprite for when you get a 50+ combo. The Bo Noise is in grungey looking guillotine, looking rather meek and frowning. As the blade rises and trembles, Bo looks up with a frightened expression and some sweat dripping on their head. They also place one of their hands on their hat. This Bo design has a mid 1900s look to it, with Bo having a bulbous nose and tiny eyes, as well as a hat that looks like a combination of 'bunny ears' hat and Donald Duck-esque hat they're typically depicted with.

I have a somewhat humorous experience with this sprite. I first saw it in a video exploring Super Bo Noise's debug commands in a segment where the person playing was exploring an unused/unfinished level. For context, this is the HUD animation for when you get a 50+ combo (or com-bo if you will). However, in that video, the HUD animation appeared out of nowhere, which bewildered the fuck out of me. What made it even funnier to me was that this is a remake of an early HUD animation for the Mid Escape.

An older sprite for the same purpose. The artstyle is much more crude here and more reminiscent of their idle animation design. The Bo Noise laughs as they tug at a rope that controls the blade of the guillotine. They take a moment to look at the viewer and laugh, before releasing the rope. Blood covers the entire scene, obscuring Bo Noise's implied demise.

The contrast between these two animations is crazy. The old one portrays Bo as this laughing masochist, while the the new one makes Bo into this sopping, poor guy who's getting executed for some unknown reason. Again, these are for when you get a 50+ combo, and they give off two totally different vibes. Even when experiencing a great acheivement, the Bo Noise suffers for some reason. It's almost like the Bo Noise is this sort of Doise-like character, though they have more comedic range.

Lemme just take a moment to talk about what I like about the new 50+ HUD animation. Like a lot of Bo's sprites, Bo is stylized in a really fun way that it's hard to keep your eyes off it. This is one of those designs that feel especially like a mid-1900s/UPA cartoon. There's a lot of cuteness factor to this design as well, which also makes this gif as saddening as it is funny.

    9. Take 2 Animation
    10. The animation for entering the lap 2 portal. Instead of a giant pizza in Pizza Tower, the Bo Noise enters a roll of film tape. The Bo Noise screams in a cartoony, exaggerated manner before being sucked into the tape as it disappears. Bo Noise's porportions are heavily exaggerated here, similar to how exaggered 90s cartoons characters look. They are given a skinny bowtie and a long, red nose.

I like this animation for similar reasons that I like the one kung fu animation I showed off. I think the skinny Bo Noises tend to have a lot of character in them, and this one is no exclusion. This Bo feels kinda dorky and cowardly, like they would act and sound like Shaggy from Scooby Doo. I also just noticed this is one of the few designs for Bo that give them a bowtie, which looks really cute here! I speculate that the bowtie sometimes used in these designs is based off of how Pizzelle from Sugary Spire had a bowtie in her earlier designs apparently? It would make sense since it seems like the team behind Super Bo Noise get a lot of amusement from the fangame. Overall, another super fun sprite.

    11. Bo Noise Oiling Up
    12. The animation Bo Noise does at the beginning of Lake Eerie. They transition into a completely different style than their idle animation, having a mid 1900s look. In this style, they are given a somewhat wide body with stumpy legs, with their hat looking like tiny bear-like ears. Bo pulls out a canister of oil and happily douses themself into it before hopping around as they rub down their legs in the oil. After they finished dousing themself in oil, Bo Noise grabs their cape to do a pose, glistening in oil, before swiftly turning back into their idle animation style.

There's a chance you've seen this one before if you linger around on Pizza Tower Twitter or similar communities. Honestly, this one feels so iconic because how it captures quite a few common concepts used by the game's art direction. It's random, vaguely a reference to meme (oil floats on water rage comic), has that mid-1900s aesthetic, and is weirdly so damn well animated. I like how the "choppiness" of some parts of the animation are used to illustrate the Bo Noise hopping in place and struggling to put the oil on. There's quite a bit of character in this animation too. I like how it portrays the Bo Noise as someone who is very eager to douse themself in oil for some reason the audience will never know. Another thing I like is that there's more focus placed on the action itself than on the meme it's potentially referencing. It makes the reference feel quite subtle, providing more satisfaction to those who get it. The utilization of the game's mid-1900s aesthetic for this animation also adds a bunch of charm to it, and it already has a lot of that because of the reasons I've listed earlier. Man, you can really talk a lot about this one animation, huh?

    13. Wallclimb/"Worming wall"
    14. The Bo Noise's wallclimbing animation. This animation draws Bo Noise in a similar style to the oil dousing animation, granted slightly more abstractly. They are scrambling against a hypothetical wall zanily. At one point, Bo contorts their body to the side, causing them to stumble and roll on the wall for a couple frames.

Now here's a pretty humorous one. Like what the fuck is happening here. Like yeah, it's Bo Noise wallclimbing, but the animation usually happens pretty quickly in game so it's hard to really see all the motion involved with it. I like how the Bo Noise tumbles about in this animation, makes it a lot more zany. Even though all the poses are all squashed, they're still quite varied, making the animation super fun to look at. Looking into characterization, I enjoy how Bo Noise is potrayed as this thing between man and creature. Sure, the Bo Noise is quite humanoid here, but they're given this blank expression (like some kind of fish) that makes it feel like they're doing this out of an instinctual drive, meanwhile failing to do so. Also I need to say that I like it when Bo Noise looks like just some guy in a pajama onesie, and these depictions also tend to look like they're mascots for a 1950s detergent company.

    15. This final blow animation/ima firin mah lazah
    16. One of Bo Noise's final blow animations. This one depicts the Bo Noise unhinging their jaw so that the 'ima firin mah laser' face can blast a strobing beam. This sprite looks similar to their idle sprite but without any eyes.

The final blow animations got some fun "oomph" to it, but this one is easily the funniest. It's pretty startling and feels distinctly violent compared to Bo's other animations. It's not really often that the Bo Noise gets a chance to inflict such cruel violence onto another (when that typically happens to themself instead) and it feels pretty rewarding. It reminds me of the sense of power you get in Pizza Tower when playing as the Noise or Peppino, possessing that chaotic energy of the game and slinging it back. Sure, this is a Pizza Tower fangame, so this feeling is to be expected, but it's neat that the team has found other means to convey this idea.

(I should clarify that wrote this before I learned about the aforementioned racist origins of this meme. I'm keeping this section in because does contain a key idea in the analysis I do of Bo in this list. I imagine the crew implemented this unknowing of its origins, which is something I assume most people aren't aware of. However, as trivial it may seem, I think it's good to aknowledge problematic material, even in things we enjoy.)

    17. Bo Noise nonbinary slay
    18. The HUD for BO Noise's breakdance animation. It portrays the Bo Noise with a gaping, buck toothed smile while they hold a tiny nonbinary flag. The gay flag is behind them as well. Bo Noise's mach 4 HUD animation. The Bo Noise is a cat-like creature riding a Tuc cracker with a beam with the nonbinary flag colors trail behind them. They have overly cutesy eyes and are looking at the viewer.

Already shown these before and talked about it already but THESE SPRITES MAKE ME SO HAPPY. They make me happy in that "teehee!" kind of way. Look at the Bo Noise expressing their pride so joyfully! It's so damn cute! I genuinely find this character so cute and charming I can't take it.

    19. "U Killed It" Rank Animation
    20. Bo Noise's victory screen animation for when you get a U rank in the game. The Bo Noise jumps towards the screen to bounce around in place for a couple moments, transforming into another distortion of themself after every bounce. These styles include a KittyDog-esque Bo Noise, a rat that looks similar to the Noise's cheese-rat transformation in Pizza Tower, a limbless Bo Noise that looks like the Bo is swaddled up like a baby, and one crudely drawn Bo Noise raising their hands in the air. The final bounce causes blood to wipe the screen, which eventually reveals a dead Bo Noise with a broken leg and chest wound. They are holding a flower as well. This final screen has the text 'U KILL'D IT!!!' and the background is a pinkish-purple, littered with various tiny doodles.

This is one is nice and flashy. There's a good sense of energy to it, helping to capture the feeling of getting a P rank (or U rank in Super Bo Noise). The first half of this animation comes off as prideful, embracing its odd self. At the same time, however, this animation does something similar to the 50+ combo animation where it places the Bo Noise in a miserable situation (i.e. literally killing them) despite the situation it's used in being a triumphant one. Again it's simultaneously really funny and really sad for me to see these jokes with the Bo Noise. Looking at it at a more analytical angle, it reminds me of the constant feelings of being uncontrollable yet powerful when you play as Peppino in Pizza Tower, which is more something newer players experience. The Bo Noise themself seems to be rather unapologetically themself, but gets punished for it at random intervals. Like a Talking Tom or a Pou. Even though these jokes exist, I still stand with my earlier point that this game doesn't feel like it has genuine ill-will towards "cringeyness" since the game is so doofy, silly, and happy.

Honestly there's many more animations that I really love from this game, but these are the ones that were most easily available.

    BoCannons

  • Bo Noise they/he Nonbinary gay WARRIROR!!!!!!!!! They don't mind being refered in a masculine way or presenting as such, but they find much more amusement in presenting themself in a "quirky" way.
  • Their full name is Bo Bodacious Beauregard Gutierrez.
  • The Bo Noise's lingo ranges from corny Hannnah Barbara dialogue, 2000s/2010s internet speak, and cryptic ethreal wisdom. He'll explain something very important or compelling in the most annoying way possible. Yeah the guy has moments where they're very solemn, but they will NOT ditch that internet speak and whatnot. It's caked into their blood.
  • Okay so this little fella is also a part of my Pizza Tower canon/headcannons. They're a being that only the Noise can see and are confined to his mind. It's uncertain whether this guy is an alter, a hallucination, or some kind of guardian spirit. What is for certain, however, is that the Bo Noise is excluded to the confines of the Noise's mind. Also they've been around ever since the Noise fully submitted to the Pizza Tower. They know everything about the Noise, down to his deepest desires and regrets. They are very benevolent, innocent, and yet wise.
  • The Bo Noise tends to appear for the Noise when he needs them most, but they also appear at random, typically to make a comment that only amuses themself. The Noise, being a guy who spent most of his life on the internet gawking at lolcows and running a philanthropic prank channel on YouTube, at first finds this behavior very annoying. Eventually, she mellows out and tries to tolerate the Bo Noise's "cringeyness".
  • The Bo Noise represents the Noise's inner innocence and unapologetic self, as well as his overwhelming feelings of regret towards his past and current actions. To the Noise, he's always this reminder that he knows and can do better, which is where the regret comes in. Ever since the first time the Noise saw the Bo Noise, she always gets an overwhelming feeling of regret from even just looking at the guy, and at first she wasn't sure why. At first, the Noise hid this fear behind her own annoyance and smugness, but eventually ditches this behavior when having some intimate conversations with the Bo Noise.
  • They're like the Ghost of Christmas Past from A Christmas Carol in some ways, mainly because they both have really ambiguous ages.
  • Even though the Bo Noise seeks to help the Noise become a better person and is generally more morally good than him, the Bo Noise can't help having occaisional spouts of irrational hate or malice towards a select few things and people. This is because the Bo Noise is inevitably part of the Noise, and the Noise's habit of making fun of people he sees as "cringey" or "lesser" has been ingrained in him since he was a child.
  • Noisette and the Bo Noise have somewhat similar roles in the Noise's life, except Noisette tends to coddle and enable the Noise more.
  • Yeah okay here's a note or whatever: A portion of my Bo Noise headcannons are related to my headcannons and ideas for the Noise, and I'm considering making a page detailing all of my headcannons and scenarios for him.
  • Bo Noise voiceclaims. His voice switches between these:
    1. Runforthecube (gummi jelli belli rat candi guy)
    2. That one Joel Vargskelethor voice where he does the stupid kinda high pitched voice
    3. The inflatable duck voice that either Wendy or Dipper does in "The Deep End" from Gravity Falls
    4. Spongebob Squarepant's voice in the Serbian dub. Specifically when he screams.
    5. Dickie Sugarjumper from My Gym Partner's a Monkey
    6. Aw shit here comes pacman
    7. Every shitty Spongebob impression ever
    8. David Coppertrout from My Gym Partner's a Monkey
    9. ummm this is my response to fucking fatass soos im Berdly
    10. The amazing digital circus! It's amazing AND! It's digital!
    11. Cause shes giving a fucking boner fuck you think im pitching tents for
    12. im mr stick im mr thick i take the money i do it quick im mr stick im mr crazy mr stick take your money go crazy
  • There's always some kind of shitty or vintage layer to Bo Noise's voice.
  • Okay uhhh yeah that's pretty much it I think OKAY XAVIER OUT!

A Picmix made by the Bo Noise team asking you to play the game. It has Bo Noise's awesome face expression from the 'O rank' animation in front of a rainbow gradient background. There are a couple stickers on the Picmix: Pikachu balancing on top of a Pokeball, Grumpycat, an awesome/epic face, a hamtaro looking character dancing on Bo Noise's hand, and a doge. The message telling you to play Super Bo Noise (Play Super Bo Noise Now!) is built up by different fonts, with the 'play' being a gif of Nyan Cat holding the word in rainbow colors. The Picmix is overlayed with a nonmoving sparkle effect.

A piece by Xavier called 'A Broken Heart and a Bladder'. The Noise in an alleyway at night using one arm to hold back his other arm, which is reaching out towards a giant Bo Noise fish that's leaping out an imaginary stream. Another Bo Noise is curled around the Noise, this one having the body of a fox and angel wings, a broken heart decal painted the tip of their tail. Both Bo Noise creatures and subtly glowing yellow. The Bo Noise fish is smiling while its eye is puffy as many glistening tears come out of it. The fish has a red broken heart with Bo Noise's face on it being held together with a baby pin, and the Noise has a swim bladder sticking out of a hole in his tracksuit, which is where is bladder is located. While the Bo Noises have thin outlines, the Noise lacks outlines and is rendered with a rough brush in a detailed artstyle. The river the Bo Noise fish is leaping out of has very saturated colors. The background and the Noise are made up of cool colors. The background is a collage, spare for the vivid yellow moon in the background. Xavier's signature is in the top right corner, and was drawn on October 2024. There are two, debatably three, Bo Noises in this drawing. The larger Bo Noise on the left is chubby, has a comically curled nose, one tooth, the tapers of their cape coming out of a hole in their mouth and the rest of the cape coming out of the back of their head, and a nefarious and spindley Bo Noise head protruding from their chest. They have their hands folded, hanging behind their back, and are smiling. The Bo Noise on the right is smaller, has large, cutesy eyes, red cheeks, a long noise, nubbed lumbs, an angel wing, a devil wing, a fox tail, a devil tail, all of these features being used to make them look like a stupid little creature. Both Bo Noises' hats are stylized into short, animal ear-like nubs. The Bo Noise on the left has a speech bubble that reads, 'Frankly, the natural contortions towards moral and immoral actions that are made in the name of homeostasis that resides in all sentient beings fascinates me. Despite my soul yearning for peace and a venture for good, the Bo Noise.exe *dodges* and *no miss*, and I shall engage in the Animal Jam role play that is my mind. One day I shall consistently emulate the nature of five Woody Woodpecker dolls.' The background consists of the same HUD sprite for Bo Noise's fish transformation repeated several times as a pattern. There is a red overlay over the image, making the colors warm and the piece mildly unsettling. A redraw of the 'jotchua and friend' meme with the Bo Noise and GiR from Invader Zim, with Bo on the left, and GiR on the right. The Bo Noise has been given a red nose and cheeks, a shadow on their face, and the tapers of their cape replace their tongue. They are are portrayed rather portly. GiR has eyelashes with light blue orbs on the ends of them. Bo Noise and GiR are both smiling. A Picmix that Xavier made of the Bo Noise. It is overlayed with many many images and stickers. Bo Noise's game over animation is to the right of the image, and has a speech bubble that reads, 'Hai Im Bo Noise and I luv bein' non-BOnary Tuc-Tastic Pride!!'. Bo Noise's O rank animation is to the left. The background is an image of Tuc crackers. Bo Noise's nonbinary HUD animations make up the four corners of the image. A couple nonbinary themed Neko-astume stickers are on the top and bottom of the Picmix. There are rainbow paw pad borders on the top and bottom as well. The rest of the stickers on the left include: a picture that says 'Im not random.... OMG a frog!!!', glittery pink text that says 'they/them' (the two Ts on the sticker are used to spell out 'tuc tastic' with the rest of the letters running vertically down), Bo Noise's breakdance animation next to a glittery GiR image, a notebook that says 'always smile' with an epic/awesome face on it, a gif that has an awesome faced pikachu and the text 'Like, OMG (NO way!!), and glittery text that says 'Sparkledog' next to a nonbinary paw pad. The rest of the stickers are on the right and consist of banners and stamps. The banners read, 'I'm really s Sparkledog', 'stupid and nonbinary', 'non-binary pride', 'they/them', and 'I love being cringe'. The stamps consist of a fish overlayed with 'they them' in black text, 'I am a sparkle dog and Ill sparkle all I want' next to a rainbow heart, and a stamp that simple reads 'my fursona has FLEAS'.
A digitally drawn sprite by Xaiver. It is of the Bo Noise holding a paint brush with purple paint on it and their own hat, which they are using as a palette. Bo Noise is also sticking out their tongue, which is dripping in purple paint. The Bo Noise is stylized to be fat, has a unibrow, a bulbous red nose and blush, the tapers of their cape sticking out of their face like a mustache or whiskers, and a dog or seal-like face. They are bald without their hat, spare for a couple hairs. Their gloves are stained with paint. Bo Noise's color scheme is slightly darker and desaturated than Bo's typical palette. Bo Noise's idle animation. They are bouncing in place, their grin growing bigger, and their eyes spinning in circles. Bo Noise's idle animation. They are bouncing in place, their grin growing bigger, and their eyes spinning in circles. Button that leads back to shrine menu. It's a gif of a stick figure (reminiscent of what you'd see on an exit sign) trying to run out an exit but hurts its leg on the way, and gets shut out by another stick figure. Katakana appears at the beginning and end of the gif, potentially to be some kind of exclamation.
